“I collaborate with families to find solutions that best fit their child’s needs.”

My Approach

As a pediatric gastroenterologist, I care for all children with conditions of the digestive system, with a special focus on diseases of the pancreas. I am the medical director of the Total Pancreatectomy with Islet Auto Transplantation (TPIAT) program at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, which provides an innovative surgical solution for the treatment of debilitating acute recurrent and chronic pancreatitis. I am also the gastroenterology lead for the Exocrine Pancreas Program and the Cystic Fibrosis Program.

The pancreas is a complex but vital organ. Recently, we have had exciting breakthroughs in the care of pediatric pancreatitis, and I am honored to provide the latest treatments to improve children’s health and help them lead their best lives.

I value shared decision-making when working with families and finding care solutions that best fit each family’s desires, values, and lifestyle.
