Pediatrics
“Caring for kids is my passion and privilege.”
Taking care of kids has always been my dream. Even when I was young, I gravitated toward working with children. So, going into medicine made perfect sense to me: doing what I love plus doing good in the world. I feel like there is nothing better I could do with my life. The best part is, it doesn't feel like working, it's fun!
Growing up in the military, I saw a lot of different pediatricians, but what always remained the same was the kindness and care they gave. Its a special relationship with someone you can trust who cares for you and your development as a person. That feeling is what I always strive for in my own practice. Being a good listener, helping families figure out what works best for them. Those are the most important parts of my job. Its so meaningful and rewarding to see how my efforts can help improve a childs life for the long haul.
