Pediatrics
“I especially enjoy partnering with families and helping them feel empowered every step of the way.”
I grew up surrounded by public service—my father was a public defender, and my mother was a nurse. Their work inspired me to serve my community. As I went through school and volunteered with AmeriCorps as a middle school educator after college, I realized how much I enjoyed working with children. I knew I wanted to be in a role where I could support kids’ health and wellness and help them succeed.
Being a pediatrician has been incredibly rewarding. I love seeing children grow and thrive, and I especially enjoy partnering with families and helping them feel empowered every step of the way. In particular, I have a special interest in educating patients and families about their health because understanding how your body works is key to prevention and success.
My approach to care is inclusive and centered around open communication and respect for diverse patient populations. I always listen to what matters most to families and patients—because if it’s important to them, it’s important to me. It’s a privilege to be part of a family’s journey, working alongside parents to guide decisions that shape their child’s well-being.
