To help you and your child thrive in every aspect of life, we have gathered helpful information about a variety of topics. The following resources are offered at Stanford Children’s, in Northern California, and generally nationwide.

At Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, we believe in the strength and knowledge of our patients and strive to support them in coping with all aspects of celiac disease. Our deeply committed celiac disease care team creates opportunities for families and children to engage with each other to share information, experiences, and fun.

In partnership with Beyond Celiac, we have created a fun, informative way for children and families with celiac disease to come together, learn, and connect. Our popular monthly Saturday gatherings provide health and wellness activities, nutritional support, healthy snacks, and emotional support to help children and families learn coping skills and find community.
A group of passionate parents have come together to connect the celiac disease community and provide support for each other. The group offers quarterly virtual meetings with our care team on relevant topics to help meet the challenges of living gluten-free and to provide new perspectives for patients with celiac disease and their families. Planned events may include cooking demonstrations, hikes, and cookouts.
We offer a celiac disease peer-to-peer program in which newly diagnosed patients and families can meet those who have been living gluten free for a while and benefit from their hands-on learning and experience. Our care team helps facilitate connections between parents, patients, or the whole family! Participants find this program helpful for added perspective, emotional support, and fostering new friendships.
