I have always loved working with kids. Growing up in India, I saw so many children with no access to health care or preventive medicine. Simple measures could have made a significant difference in their lives; witnessing this inspired me to become a pediatrician.

Pediatrics is the only discipline where a physician gets to contribute to the health of a human being from day one. So I take my role very seriously. I see myself as a partner with parents in caring for their child. I speak many Indian languages, Spanish, and some German. Being able to talk to families in their own languages is something that creates a special bond between us.

I really enjoy caring for my patients over a long period of time and watching them grow. Every milestone achieved by a child becomes my achievement too.
