“My clinical experiences have humbled me and taught me to understand how a person’s story affects their health.”
My love for science and caring for people drew me to medicine. What I love about being a doctor is combining my understanding of physiology with my passion for working with people and hearing their stories. In past experiences working with vulnerable populations, I’ve seen how social situations deeply impact health, encouraging me to uplift people’s health in meaningful ways.
Working with children is the most joyous experience. I love their curiosity, resilience, and strength. Their ability to overcome hurdles is powerful and motivating. It inspires me to help them on their path of growth and development. My goal is to be a partner to families, working together to address their concerns and support their goals.
I especially enjoy the newborn period, helping new families transition and navigate this significant life change. My clinical experiences have humbled me and taught me to understand how a person’s story affects their health. This perspective, gained from working with sick children, is valuable even in well-child care, where concerns differ but the core principles remain the same.
